COG Observation Record: Online data entry

Welcome to the Canberra Ornithologists Group online bird sighting data entry.
This program is modelled on the COG Observation Record form, so it should come naturally to COG members.

The system is not difficult to use, but please
read carefully the instructions and options on each screen until you become familiar with it.

Data Entry Function

There are two major data entry screens.

The first is information about the time and location of the sightings. This corresponds to the front of the COG Observation Record Form. You have the opportunity to review this information for accuracy before you submit it.

The second is the record of bird sightings. This corresponds to the back of the COG Observation Record Form. You have the opportunity to review this information for accuracy before you submit it.

Review Function

Once you have submitted the reviewed information you can recall submitted forms for amendment or deletion.
